Our Story

Litson Ranch is a family-owned business. Although managed by Diné women, it's operated by a rancher, Bennie Litson, his daughters, and grandchildren. It is located at the center of the Diné Nation in the communities of Tsaile and Wheatfields, AZ. Uniquely, the Litson Ranch is a fourth (4th) generation ranch prospering despite the challenges of access to grazing lands in Trust Status.

As Diné People, Mother Earth, and all-natural environments connect us to who we are. For generations, land, water, air, and sunlight have been in our prayers, songs, and way of life. This is the basis of our core values at Litson Ranch! Great management practices demonstrate healthy and thriving land, promoting sustainable grass-fed beef, cow-calf operation, and vegetables and traditional food operation.
